‘Lungomare 3’ seafront promenade nears completion in Vlora

TIRANA, March 30 – Work on the ‘Lungomare 3’ seafront promenade in Vlora–Orikum continues at a fast pace. Authorities rank it among the most important investments in the coastal city. The development aims to expand high-quality tourism along the waterfront.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images from the construction site on social media. He described the works as part of a “transformation site” along the Radhima axis. The ‘Lungomare 3’ seafront promenade is now moving toward completion.

The Orikum bypass linked to the promenade runs across the hills along the Vlora–Orikum road. The project will ease traffic pressure and create a new urban dynamic for the area. It will improve access and enhance the coastal experience.

The investment expands Vlora’s tourism offer and prepares the ground for ‘Lungomare 4’ in the Orikum area. Authorities aim to create the longest seaside promenade in the Mediterranean. The promenade will serve local residents as well as domestic and foreign visitors traveling along the Albanian Riviera.
