Tirana, October 1 – The 64th edition of the Song Festival at Albanian Radio and Television (RTSH) begins today. The submission period for competing songs has ended, and organizers are ready for the next stage.

Producer Belioza Çoku explained that the festival will focus on the quality of songs and performances. Moreover, she said that Albanians abroad will take part in voting, and results will appear in real time. She added that transparency will guide every phase of the competition.

Çoku also noted the challenges of creating teams that share the same vision and passion. She joined the project following an invitation from Artistic Director Elhaida Dani. In addition, she highlighted the festival’s role in promoting talented singers and strong artistic productions without compromise.

The festival will feature two competition nights, followed by the “Night of Nostalgia.” Then, the final night will announce the winners. Meanwhile, organizers will present social inclusion projects in October and publish the final list of participating songs and performers in November.

Çoku concluded that the Song Festival remains Albania’s only internationally licensed platform, giving winners a chance to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest.
