San Demetrio Corone in Calabria, Italy, hosted the 9th Pan-Albanian Archival Conference today.

Archivists, researchers, and institutional representatives from across Albanian-speaking regions joined the event. The program included scientific presentations and a special panel on the Arbëresh community’s linguistic and cultural heritage.

The annual conference offers a key platform to preserve, promote, and coordinate archival work at a national level.

The General Directorate of Archives, in a social media post, thanked the municipality of San Demetrio Corone for its hospitality, cooperation, and direct support.

“Without their commitment, the event would not have taken the shape it deserved,” the Directorate said.

It also thanked all participants for their energy and contributions to strengthening cooperation between national archives.
