Painter Gazmend Leka opens the exhibition ‘A woman passed by’: Ecological line of the soul

Painter Gazment Leka opened an exhibition at Fier Art Gallery, with 15 oil paintings among them drawings, entitled “A woman passed by”.

With the title nude, dedicated to the figure of women in society, the painter states that art in its essence in front of the public should be provocative and follow an ecological, spiritual line.
“The artist does his work and how he gives account to anyone is provocative. I follow an ecological line of my soul. I have not done a complete exhibition where the main character is nude. But actually I had no intention of drawing nude art. I wanted to give another signal. A kind of signal for those women who are beginning to be forgotten. Because today people mostly see catwalk women, women, people go crazy on TV after top models. I would bring that thing which has always been primitive venus’, says Gazmend Leka.

After 7 exhibitions, he considers his creativity an asset that he always fulfills in the art of his work.

Built on 15 oil paintings and 13 drawings, the exhibition “A woman passed by” of the painter Gazmend Leka will be open for two weeks to the public at the Art Gallery in Fier.
