Korçë has welcomed Albanian and international artists for the 16th edition of the “Days of Mio” International Art Symposium, dedicated to renowned Albanian painter Vangjush Mio.

The event opened on October 28 at the Vangjush Mio House Museum. It brings artists together to share ideas, exchange experiences and explore the universal language of art.

Through their work, the participants aim to turn Korçë into a meeting point for creativity, inspiration and cultural dialogue. The event also strengthens the city’s international cultural profile.

The art colony will run until October 31 at two venues: the Vangjush Mio House Museum and the Guri Madhi Art Gallery in Korçë.

The Municipality of Korçë, the Korçë Art and Culture Centre and the Guri Madhi Art Gallery organise the annual event.

The symposium honours Mio’s artistic legacy while encouraging cultural exchange among artists from Albania and abroad.
