Tourism of the history of the dictatorship in Albania, part of the international fair of Berlin

The history of the dictatorship in Albania is now an attraction worth visiting. With the aim of stimulating the interest of foreign tourists, but also to give a message in the times we live in, the entrepreneur Dritan Gremi has conceived and presented in Berlin, the event entitled: Tourism of dictatorship history in Albania.
This activity held at the premises of Hybrid Studio was considered an innovation for what it represented and drew attention to the participants and the media present at the largest tourism event in the world.
“I believe that today more than ever the past is very important to remember. You could not find this in any better country than Albania, since Albania has lived for 45 years under the terror of the dictatorship and this dictatorship has left its mark almost all over the country, turning Albania into a museum under the open sky, as regards these objects of the dictatorship”, said Gremi, answering the question of the French journalist Philip Guersan, why now?
“In the times we are living in, we are experiencing the conflict in Ukraine, which is not a conflict between Ukraine and another country, but which, in my opinion, is a conflict between two worlds. There is a struggle between two so-called totalitarian or dictatorial systems and the other system, which is the system we live in and aspire to live for a long time. It is the democratic, European one, the one of a free world where people are free to choose, express themselves, where the word is not cut off, where people are not killed, tortured and punished, because they say exactly what they think. I do believe that today more than ever, if until the years 89-90 we lived for almost 40 years the cold war, now we are in another war which is another cold war, between totalitarian and democratic systems”, he said.
