The operetta “Carnivals” was well received by the Korčari art lovers who filled the theater hall.

The director of the National Theater of Opera and Ballet, Abigeila Voshtina, based on the success of “Carnivals”, said that from time to time the Opera Troupe will return to the creativity of Albanian composers, pieces which have not seen the stage for many years.

The carnivals achieved this success thanks to the performance of the Opera and Ballet National Theater Symphony Orchestra, carefully conducted by Elda Laro, as well as the its Choir, conducted by maestro Dritan Lumshi, and also collaborating with the Armed Forces Symphony Orchestra.

This operetta written by Avni Mula, that was staged for the first time on February 5, 1978, comes 45 years later, commemorating the composer’s 95th birthday.
