The second edition of the “Femfest” Festival starts its several-day journey, on the afternoon of March 4 in the large hall of Arturbina.

Just like last year, “Femfest” is built with a platform of impressive shows, debates, songs, music, exhibitions, and installations. Part of the festival will be artists, activists, writers, politicians and singers who, through different genres of art, will give voice to the problems that are not spoken, or those that are not heard. The proceeds collected from the tickets will go towards 4 scholarships for the best female students of the University of the Arts.

After the opening of the Festival, the dates will continue in the early hours of the morning, with discussions and panels organized by the “Women’s Empowerment Network” (AWEN) and the “Kosovo Women’s Network” (KWN).
One of the most important initiatives of this edition is the promotion of new playwrights, whose works will be published, with the hope that they will see the lights of the stage as soon as possible, as well as an “in memoriam ”, for women with great contributions in the field of performing arts.
