EU4Culture program targets not only the restoration and museumization, but also revitalization and transformation into magnets of cultural and economic life.

The EU4Culture program is being implemented by UNOPS Albania in cultural heritage objects in the cities hit hardest by the November 2019 earthquake.

In parallel with the restoration of these objects, the Ministry of Culture, UNOPS and the Durrës Museum Center are working on the drafting of the Integrated Cultural Property Management Plan and the Business Plan for a network of very important cultural heritage institutions and objects in Durrës: the Archaeological Museum , Venetian Tower and Hammam.

This plan aims at the good management of these rare assets, their protection and promotion. Implemented by UNOPS, EU4Culture also aims to increase local tourism potential and create jobs.
