Rehabilitation of 30 bridges, the project with the World Bank starts this year

The Albanian government will launch a new project for the rehabilitation of bridges in Albania, in cooperation with the World Bank.
The WB office in Tirana announced that the new bridge construction project will improve the infrastructure of 30 bridges in Albania that connect the population of the area with the rest of the country.
A better and safer road network in Albania enables faster movement of people and goods, strengthening the economy.
“The project will directly benefit 800,000 people,” the World Bank said in a statement.
Through this important project, Albania will have safer bridges, which will improve movement and contribute to the rebalancing of economic growth.
