Korça has long since become the favorite city of Albanians, who visit it not only on holidays, or when it is covered by snow, but throughout the year.

The mayor of Korça, Sotiraq Filo, following the promotion of events and objects that are worth visiting by the residents of Korça but also visitors, brought to the public images from the house of the Korça painter Koço Ristani, which has turned into an attraction.

“Located in the heart of one of the historical districts of Korça, “Ristani Art and Food” invites you to enjoy traditional foods in the background of the collection of paintings by the Korça master Koço Ristani,” writes Filo.

The restoration painter Koço Ristani passed away last year. It occupies a special place in the history of the restoration of works of art in Albania. The figure of Koço Ristani is multifaceted, as he was a painter, scenographer, costume designer, decorator, graphic designer and restorer of medieval works of art.

In 1980 Koço Ristani was part of the first group of medieval art restorers in the National Museum of Medieval Art, Korçë.
