The musical of the movie “Callas and Onassis” will come to Albania, precisely on the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Greek soprano, Maria Callas, thanks to the cooperation of the Opera and Ballet Theater of Albania (TKOB) and the Varna Opera.

This was announced by the General Director of Opera House, Abigeila Voshtina, through a post on social media, where she assesses it as “a nice surprise for art lovers”.
Through this memorandum, the theaters of the two countries will have the opportunity to exchange different artists and directors, as well as choir conductors, involved in the activities of the Artistic Calendar 2023.

One of the objectives of the Opera House, according to Voshtina, is “putting on the Albanian stage the large-scale production “AIDA” directed by Franko Zeffirelli”, for which she appreciated the support of the director Dimova, as “invaluable”.
