Vjosa Osmani meets the Austrian Chancellor: Kosovo-Serbia dialogue should be equal; It should end with mutual recognition

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani met in Austria with Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz where, among other things, he focused on the topic of dialogue.
The head of state says that the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue should be equal between the parties and should end with mutual recognition.
She also pointed out to Kurz that the people of Kosovo are more pro-European and asked the EU to keep its promise and liberalize visas.
In a meeting with Chancellor Kurz, President Osmani expressed gratitude for the continued Austrian support for Kosovo. He stressed that it is in Kosovo’s interest for this support to continue with the visa liberalization process and the strengthening of Kosovo’s international subjectivity.
President Osmani also stressed Kosovo’s readiness to deepen bilateral relations. In this regard, President Osmani highlighted the opportunities for deepening cooperation between the two countries in the field of economy, information technology, green agenda and other areas.
In this meeting, Ms. Osmani thanked Chancellor Kurz for 95 thousand Pfizer vaccines, which were provided for Kosovo by the European Union, for which Austria had helped in the procedural aspect.
President Osmani in a meeting with Chancellor Kurz, stressed that the people of Kosovo are the most pro-European, so she demanded that the EU should liberalize visas, keeping its promise.
Meanwhile, regarding the dialogue with Serbia, President Osmani reiterated the position for equal dialogue between the parties, which ends with mutual recognition.
President Osmani also stressed that preconditions for lasting peace in the region are justice for the victims of the recent war in Kosovo, clarifying the fate of those missing through violence during the war and respecting the sovereignty and constitutional and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo.
