The Symphony Orchestra of Albanian Radio and Television gave a concert last evening at the Cultural Center of Ulqin, Montenegro. The event took place at the invitation of the Municipality of Ulqin, as part of ongoing cultural cooperation.

Maestro Gridi Kraja led the orchestra. The program featured works by Çesk Zadeja, Antonín Dvorak, and Georges Bizet.

Four sopranos from Ulcinj joined the performance: Gjylie Pelingu-Hoxha, Hristina Dragovic, Maja Jakovic, and Ezona Salaj.

“This concert is part of many events we’ve planned throughout May, as Ulqin prepares for the tourist season,” said Merita Shabanovic from the Municipality of Ulqin.

“It’s a special honor and pleasure to sing with the Albanian Radio and Television Orchestra,” said soprano Gjylie Pelingu-Hoxha.
