Korça is preparing to kick off the tourist season with a grand celebration,  the International Carnival Festival.

“On June 7th, our city will transform into a vibrant stage of colors, creativity, and joy,” said Sotiraq Filo, Mayor of Korça.

Carnivals are a cherished tradition in Korça and beyond. They bring the community together and showcase the city’s artistic spirit. Every year, dozens of stunning costumes reflect not only imagination but also the identity and personal messages of the participants.

The streets of Korça are expected to soon fill with superheroes, theatrical characters, mythological figures, and powerful messages conveyed through costumes.

Mayor Filo invited everyone to participate in this international festival, highlighting some of the most creative costumes from previous years through a photo album.
