Europe’s Cultural Week 2025 continues with diverse activities. Among them was the screening of the documentary film “Vëndçe.”

The documentary “Vëndçe” by Lorin Terezi brought the voices of Pilur to the heart of Tirana. The director closely followed the Pilur group as they prepared for the Gjirokastër Folklore Festival.

As part of Europe Week, the film offered an honest and raw story about tradition, identity, and the deep bond between voice and place. Through rehearsals and daily life, it reminded viewers of the values that keep Albanians connected to their roots.

The screening ended with a talk with the director and a live performance by the group—just as a true “Vëndçe” evening deserves.
