“International Carnival Festival”: Surprises at the 18th Edition in Korça

The 18th International Carnival Festival arrives in Korça on Saturday, June 7. Lorena Saro, Public Relations Officer for Korça Municipality, shared the parade route and key highlights. This festival will also kick off the city’s summer tourist season.
“Each year, this event becomes a meeting point for citizens, visitors, and artists from around the world,” Saro said. “The festive mood will fill Korça from morning. Squares and narrow streets will host performance troupes in carnival costumes. They will bring rhythm, color, and joy to every corner of the city. In the afternoon, we will present Korça’s new tourist package and album at the Old Bazaar. In the evening, the city will light up with the carnival parade.”
Korça’s summer calendar offers even more activity. “Spirit of the Balkans, Mik Festival, LuminaElektronik Festival, and Korça BeerFest will add extra energy to the city,” Saro noted.
She invited residents and visitors to join the celebrations and discover Korça’s unique magic.
