Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, wrote on social media: “The visit aimed to exchange experiences in managing contemporary art museums and to explore concrete opportunities for mutual cooperation, cultural education programs, digital access to collections, and sustainable funding and management models, with a special focus on the future National Museum of Fine Arts.”
Gonxhja added: “The MEKI delegation’s visit is part of the strategy to modernize and internationalize Albania’s cultural institutions. Our goal is to turn our museums into vibrant spaces, attractive to artists, visitors, and communities.”
