Adrian Paci Opens “No Man is an Island” Exhibition in Rome

Adrian Paci opened his latest project, ‘No Man is an Island’, yesterday in Rome.
This exhibition invites visitors to reflect on humanism, shared responsibility, and the experiences that bring people together. Through a visual narrative centered on travel, Paci explores its transformative power and how it shapes identity and connection.
The title draws from a verse by English poet John Donne, who reminds us that no one stands alone, we all belong to a wider human community.
In this project, Paci builds a story where travel becomes a space for reflection on belonging, interconnection, and the challenges of our time.
The opening brought together Deputy Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Lira Pipa, Albania’s Ambassador to Italy Anila Bitri, and Ambassador to the Holy See Majlinda Frangaj.
Born in Shkodër in 1969, Paci studied painting at the Academy of Arts in Tirana. He moved to Milan in 1997 and, since then, has held solo exhibitions at major international institutions. These include Musee d’Art Contemporain de Montreal (2014), PAC Milan (2014), Jeu de Paume in Paris (2013), the National Gallery of Kosova in Prishtina (2012), Kunsthaus Zurich (2010), Bloomberg Space in London (2010), CCA Tel Aviv (2009), Museum am Ostwall in Dortmund (2007), MoMA PS1 in New York (2006), and the Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston (2005).
His work appears in several major public and private collections.
