Applications are now open for the 2026 European Heritage Awards and Europa Nostra Awards. These prizes honor outstanding contributions to cultural heritage across Europe.

Creative Europe–Albania announced the call through a social media post. Submissions will remain open until 9 September 2025.

This is a chance for project leaders and cultural professionals to compete for one of Europe’s most prestigious recognitions in the field. The awards celebrate achievements in conservation, protection, research, education, and heritage promotion.

The European Commission launched these awards in 2002. Since then, Europa Nostra has managed the process, with continuous support from Creative Europe.

Since 2014, Creative Europe has backed projects that promote cultural diversity, support artistic expression, and boost the creative industries’ economic impact.
