Second Edition of “Nightingales of Labëria” Begins in Tepelena, with 20 Ensembles and Folk Groups Participating

The “Nightingales of Labëria” opened last night the second edition of this festival in the city of Tepelena, where the resonant voices of polyphony filled the air.
In an atmosphere full of emotion, representatives of folk groups brought to the stage the treasures of Labëria’s song, creating a warm connection between generations and tradition.
“I’m with the group from Himara and today we are performing a special song dedicated to Qirjako Kapasi,” said one of the group representatives.
“I’m from the Vllach group from the city of Kavaja,” said another.
The festive evening also included a fair with local products and a handicraft exhibition, adding the region’s colors and flavors to this cultural gathering.
“We’re promoting all the products of our area, including culinary ones,” said one artisan.
Around 20 ensembles and folk groups from all over Albania are participating in this festival.
