Tirana has turned into a lively hotspot for both foreign tourists and locals. The city offers activities every day of the week, attracting a growing number of visitors.

Ketrina Jarazi, Director of Tourism at Tirana Municipality, said Tirana is a key destination for nearly all tourists coming to Albania. From January to April 2025, foreign visitors increased by 5% compared to the previous year.

The municipality runs two tourist information centers and has invested heavily in infrastructure and cultural sites. New museums, like the “Kadare–Agolli Studio House,” add to the city’s appeal.

Mountain tourism in Dajt, rich culinary experiences, and historical attractions also attract many visitors.

As the Mediterranean Capital of Culture and Dialogue 2025, Tirana hosts many events. These include the “Tirana Photo Festival,” concerts such as Ara Malikian’s on July 26, and festivals like the “Fërgesa Festival” and the Tirana International Film Festival.

Tirana continues to shine as a vibrant cultural center and a top tourist destination in Albania.
