The Albanian capital is overflowing with foreign tourists these days, turning the country into the main regional tourist destination of 2023.

“What I like most is the joy that people here reflect. That everyone is very nice. My daughter worked here a year in the Church. She had a dream to return to Albania and we came. The girl told me that after 10 years Albania has changed a lot. We were in Ksamil and it was very nice. The more tourists that come, the better it is for your country, because there are also jobs,” says a tourist.

“I come from the US. It’s my first time here in Albania and I really like the country’s history and culture,” says another tourist.

“Today is the first day here. So far it looks nice,” adds a French tourist.

“It is my first time in Albania. I find Tirana a very nice city,” says a tourist from Brazil.

Different groups of tourists are seen visiting the historical and cultural areas of Tirana. The special thing is that there are young age groups among them. Beautiful nature, history, culture and, by no doubt, the food too, is what attracts tourists to Albania. The year 2023 is expected to close with 9 million visitors to the country.
