EU Ambassador to Albania, Silvio Gonzato, said the programme “EU4Culture” supports not only heritage restoration but also the lives of courageous artists.

At an event by the “Tek Bunkeri” organisation with painter Lulzim Beqiri, Gonzato said restoring justice for victims of communism brings back hope, humanity, and creativity.

He mentioned Beqiri regained artistic inspiration after recovering two of his confiscated paintings. Gonzato said he feels proud that EU4Culture celebrates artists like Beqiri, not just monuments.
