Lumina Festival Turns Korça into Albania’s Capital of Electronic Music

The traditional houses, cobbled alleys, and the sense of history in every step make this city truly unique.

The Mayor of Korça, Sotiraq Filo, shared images on social media from the characteristic streets of the “city of serenades.” These show clean stone paths, old wooden doors that add charm, and flower-filled courtyards reflecting the Korçars’ attention to beauty. He described Korça as a city that improves every day without ever losing the soul that makes it so beloved.

Today, Korça hosts a much-anticipated event, especially among young people—the Lumina electronic music festival.

“Our city becomes a stage of rhythm and light, where electronic music meets nature under the open sky of Rinia Park,” wrote Filo, reminding both residents and visitors of the two-night festival, held on July 25 and 26, with free admission.

With the Lumina Festival, Korça becomes the heart of rhythm, light, and magic. The city welcomes youth from across Albania and beyond to experience a unique atmosphere and to discover a new dimension of Korça.
