Ninth Zâ Fest Celebrates Culture and Youth

The ninth edition of Zâ Fest began with art, history, and music.
Zâ Fest is a long-standing festival that brings together the region’s most unique voices in a vibrant dialogue between tradition and modernity.
With support from the European Union, the festival continues for the ninth year as a strong example of cultural diplomacy. Culture becomes a bridge that connects communities, encourages inclusion, and strengthens Albania’s European identity.
In this spirit, one highlight of the opening night was the launch of the exhibition “Me rrojt pa ik?” — a nomadic collection of 15 paintings by young artists from the Adriatic-Ionian region. The works reflect the challenges and dreams of today’s youth.
Among them, Ema Bregu from Albania presented a bold take on Albanian cultural heritage.
After a night filled with stories, documentaries, and music, the celebration continues.
Two more magical nights await visitors today and tomorrow at the Shkodra Castle, with music and atmosphere that only Zâ Fest can offer.
Speaker of Parliament Elisa Spiropali also invited citizens to attend.
“Don’t miss Zâ Fest today and tomorrow, at the magnificent Shkodra Castle,” she wrote on social media.
