“Fatalita” Graces the Stage of Teatro Massimo in Palermo

The ballet Fatalita came to life on the prestigious stage of Teatro Massimo in Palermo.

This four-part ballet features choreography by renowned artist Toni Candeloro, assisted by prima ballerina Enada Hoxha.

Costume designer Edlira Qyshka and video artist Florian Çanga crafted the visual identity of the production with great detail.

The performance in Palermo marked the next step in the international journey of Fatalita, following its acclaimed premiere at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Tirana.

The ballet weaves together scenes from four iconic works—Romeo and Juliet, Carmen, La Traviata, and Anna Karenina. Each story highlights a tragic female figure whose life ends in death.

Through dance, choreographer Toni Candeloro delivers a powerful message: stop violence and oppression against women. Their stories deserve a different ending.

Fatalita is a Tirana-born production that has reached one of Europe’s most respected stages. It carries with it the art, passion, and professionalism of Albanian culture.
