Shkodër Municipality Invites Music Creators to “Luleborë” Festival

Shkodër Municipality announced the call for participation in the “Luleborë” Festival. The invitation targets all music creators, including composers, lyricists, singers, and music groups. They are asked to submit their new songs by August 15, 2025.
One key criterion is that songs must be unpublished. Submissions should include the final demo with arrangement and vocals, the score, lyrics, and the name of the performer. The municipality also set limits: one song per composer and up to two song lyrics per lyricist.
The “Luleborë” Festival honors new Albanian music. This year marks its 10th edition.
The name “Luleborë” comes from a well-known traditional Shkodër folk song. It symbolizes purity and beauty and holds a special place in the country’s musical heritage. Keeping the original name honors this cultural legacy and connects the festival to Shkodë’s rich artistic traditions.
