Many high-density urban areas would need more parks, playgrounds and sports facilities.

With the aim of creating a public space of high quality and comprehensive conditions that will enable the revival of community life and the consolidation of the spirit of the active community, the Albanian Development Fund (ADF) is implementing the national program “I want to play” in several municipalities.

Prime Minister Edi Rama today shared photos from the project of the field complex that will be built in Berat, part of the new national program.

“Complex of fields to be built in Berat, part of the new national program of the Albanian Development Fund, “I want to play”, informs Albanian Prime minister Rama on social networks.

Through this program, the ADF aims to improve the well-being of the community and provide the opportunity for the motor skills development of the younger generations.

The project will be implemented in public spaces intended for parks in residential areas throughout the country.

The interventions within this project mainly consist in the design of the proposed spaces based on the architectural and natural conditions, with the aim of making the best possible use of the spaces in the designated location; the construction of corners that enable the development of motor skills of children at different ages, and that is accessible to all, remodeling or improving existing degraded playgrounds, in order to increase access and interaction with natural elements, and the creation of infrastructures that affect safety for the up to 14 age group, such as signage in the road infrastructure, barriers and surrounding urban spaces in the existing corners, and other elements as well.
