European Days of Archaeology, Margariti in the Roman Baths in Belsh

Last weekend was also dedicated to archeology in Albania, as part of the European Archeology Days.
On one of these days, Albanian Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti chose to be present at the most recent discovery in the village of Rrasa in Belsh, where a bath complex of the Roman period was discovered.
“It is a unique discovery in all of Albania, which expands the archaeological map and the perspective for new ones. Now Belsh has a new cultural and touristic destination and together with the Municipality of Belshi and the National Institute of Cultural Heritage, we will promote this important space for archeology and our history,” said Margariti on social networks.
This was the second consecutive year that the National Institute of Cultural Heritage was involved in the celebration of the European Days of Archaeology. This is an initiative of the Institut National de Recherches Archéologiques Préventives.
The event aims to promote the cultural heritage, mainly the archaeological one, where the participating states include activities according to a certain program.
