Thousands of pilgrims from Albania, the Diaspora, and around the world will head to the Bektashi tekke to celebrate the Mount Tomor festival. The pilgrimage on Mount Tomor starts on 20 August and runs until 25 August.

Authorities have issued guidance for safe travel, including recommended routes to and from the Bektashi tekke. Heavy vehicles will face restrictions on key roads leading to the mountain, and certain sections will operate in convoy to ensure the smooth movement of pilgrims.

The pilgrimage combines spiritual devotion with a strong cultural tradition, attracting visitors who follow the historical path to honor ‘Father’ Tomor.
