Albanian Photographers Gain International Recognition

Albanian photographers are leaving their mark in leading galleries, exhibitions, performances, and festivals worldwide.

Today, the Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, shared examples of their international success.

“Albanian photographers on the international stage! From Roland Tasho, with a long career and prestigious awards, to Ilir Tsouko with contemporary visual narratives; from Burim Myftiu with the international FOTOIST festival, to Jetmir Idrizi with works published and acclaimed across the globe,” stated Gonxhja.

While presenting their professional achievements, the minister underlined that “Albanian artists bring us honor internationally.”

He also invited the public to follow CulturAlb to discover more about Albanian photographers who are shaping the international cultural scene.

CulturAlb is the newest project for promoting Albanian culture abroad. Through this initiative, both heritage and contemporary creativity become part of international cultural dialogue.

The project is the official initiative of the Albanian Government. It aims to realize this vision through a rich calendar of exhibitions, performances, debates, and cultural events in cities around the world. With CulturAlb, Albanian culture travels, engages, and interacts without borders.
