Himara Hosts Fourth International Music Festival

The coastal city of Himara will host the fourth edition of the Himara International Music Festival from August 21 to 28.

Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja said the festival is becoming a valuable tradition for Albanian and international art lovers. He stressed that it turns the coastal city into a global hub of art and music.

The festival will take place in the “Neço Muko” hall. It will offer seven nights of diverse concerts. The program includes flamenco, jazz, classical and contemporary music. It also creates a platform for young artists and offers masterclasses for emerging musicians.

Artists from Albania, Kosovo, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Finland and Hungary will perform. They will bring energy, experience and an international spirit to the Albanian Riviera.

Gonxhja said the festival rests on five pillars: promoting Himara and its cultural heritage, ensuring artistic excellence, sending social messages through music, creating space for young artists, and engaging closely with the public through an attractive program.

“The festival is turning into a beloved tradition for local and international audiences. It enriches cultural life and promotes Himara as a destination of art and tourism,” the minister added.
