The organizing team of the 64th Festival of Song and Albanian Radio and Television announced today the call for artists to join the most important music event in Albania.

Artists who wish to participate in the 64th edition have time from 1 September until 30 September to submit their musical materials. They must send their entries only via the official email: [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).

The festival team reminded participants to submit only original works that have not been published in any other form. In addition, artists must provide full details about their compositions, including the complete song in MP3 format, the instrumental version with accompanying vocals, and the lyrics in Word format.

The team emphasized that songs must not exceed four minutes in duration. They also require the names of the song’s authors, including composer, poet, arranger, producer, and the recording studio. Artists must indicate their date of birth, place of birth, and current residence.

Furthermore, participants should include a brief description of their career, highlighting previous festival participations, such as the Festival of Song at Albanian Radio and Television, Kënga Magjike [The magic Song], or other important music events. Newcomers must attach a photo of the artist or performing group. Performers must be at least 16 years old. The festival team also requests a contact number and email for direct communication. Songs created with artificial intelligence will be disqualified immediately.

After submission, the team will confirm receipt of all entries via email. The Festival of Song at Albanian Radio and Television provides a valuable opportunity for artists seeking recognition, as the winning song represents Albania at the Eurovision stage.

The winner of the 63rd edition, Shkodra Elektronike, delivered a remarkable performance this year, electrifying the audience in Basel, Switzerland.
