Durrës Mayor Emiriana Sako called the city the heart of culture and art this summer.

She said the city came alive with concerts, exhibitions, theater shows, and live music in squares and along the coast. Many cultural and artistic events brought the community together and attracted visitors from around the world.

Sako promised the celebrations would continue.

“Even in September, Durrës will stay a lively artistic hub, offering many events for all art and culture lovers,” she wrote on social media. She encouraged everyone to check the events calendar and join the city’s unique energy.
