Mountain tourism in the Valbona Valley continues to see high visitor numbers, even in early September.

Alpine guesthouses and hotels are full. Tourists, both local and foreign, choose the area for its calm, clean air, and impressive natural landscapes.

One visitor said that the magic comes not only from the scenery but also from the hospitality of the people everywhere.

Many foreign tourists from countries such as Argentina and across Europe expressed being impressed by Albanian nature and culture. They start early in the morning to explore mountain trails and experience outdoor adventures.

A tourist noted that the Albanian Alps are stunning, looking like a postcard.

Tourism in the valley blends naturally with tradition and hospitality. Traditional dishes, handmade products, and family-style service have become key elements of the tourist experience. Local women maintain old recipes in the kitchens, offering visitors authentic tastes.

A staff member said that all traditional dishes are available.

Improved infrastructure along the valley and roads following the river make movement easier. They also connect Valbona more closely to the town of Bajram Curri.

Authorities say these developments have positively influenced visitor numbers and supported sustainable tourism in northern Albania.
