Albanian Jewish Museum in Vlora Features Modern Exhibition Technologies

The Albanian Jewish Museum, dedicated to Vlora’s history and values such as hospitality and humanism, is being constructed on the former Jewish quarter. It lies in the main square, near the National Museum of Independence, the Historical Museum, and the Ethnographic Museum.
Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, said today that work continues daily. He added that restorations go beyond classical methods. The project combines vernacular architecture with modern design.
Gonxhja noted that crews preserve original walls, supporting structures, and typical architectural elements of the historic city. At the same time, modern exhibition technologies are being introduced.
He mentioned that the project budget will reach 280 million Lek (ALL). Gonxhja also highlighted that the design comes from the winning firm, “Kimmel Eshkolot Architects” of Tel Aviv, Israel.
