Capital Transforms into Cultural Hub as Montenegrin Week Kicks Off 2025 Season

International Cultural Weeks restarted in the capital after a short summer break. They opened with Montenegrin Cultural Week at the Mirror Hall of the National Theater of Opera and Ballet. The event featured a piano concert.
Young pianist Carlo Gjurgjević performed masterpieces by Beethoven, Bach, Liszt, and Chopin. He conveyed the deep emotions of classical music. At the end, Carlo improvised using traditional Montenegrin musical themes, blending tradition with modern sounds.
Today, Montenegrin Cultural Week continued with the exhibition “Consular Representations of Montenegro 1880-1914.” The exhibition showcased rare documents from the National Archives. It highlighted the work of honorary consuls across four continents and honored their role in promoting Montenegro’s reputation.
