Shkodër Opens “Homeward” Exhibition for Art House 10th Anniversary

Shkodër marked the 10th anniversary of the Art House Foundation with the opening of the exhibition Homeward. The show brings together 33 artists across five venues, exploring themes of memory, identity, and renewal.
The exhibition honors Ferdinand Paci, presenting his drawings 50 years after his passing. It also reunites artists who once joined the Art House School residency, in a symbolic “return home.”
Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja attended the opening. He highlighted the rich program of events, meetings, and reflections that animate cultural spaces and foster dialogue.
Homeward will remain open until 13 October 2025 at Radio Shkodra, the Franciscan Auditorium, Art House – the Old Paci Family Home, the Marubi National Museum of Photography, and the Shkodra Art Gallery.
The project supports young artists and promotes new practices in photography and visual arts. It opens institutions to contemporary approaches and gives space to emerging creators shaping their artistic identity.
Through Homeward, Art House conveys that art thrives on cooperation, interaction, and mutual support, building bridges between artists in Albania, Kosovo, and across the Balkans.
The exhibition is organized by the Art House Foundation with support from the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, the EU Delegation in Albania, International Cultural Weeks, the German Embassy, the Italian Cultural Institute, and other partners.
