After last year’s success, Malësi e Madhe brought back the “Folk Games Fest” for its second edition. The festival promotes and preserves the region’s cultural heritage through traditional games once central to daily life.

The municipality supported the event, turning it into a chance for the community to gather, celebrate, and reconnect with cultural identity.

Youth groups from Malësi e Madhe performed local folk games, songs, and dances. The festival aimed to bridge generations, bringing young people closer to their roots while keeping traditions alive for the public.

The lively atmosphere drew a large audience, including locals, guests, and folk culture enthusiasts. Visitors enjoyed a colorful celebration full of energy, emotion, and tradition.

Organizers described “Folk Games Fest” as more than just an event. They called it an invitation to celebrate the identity, history, and traditions that unite Albanians.
