The National Theatre of Opera, Ballet, and Folk Ensemble announced that 70 Albanian musicians have traveled to Italy to participate in the “Respighi Bologna 2025” Festival.

After their success on the stage of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet, the TKOBAP Symphony Orchestra will represent Albania at the prestigious symphonic festival. They will perform in collaboration with the Armed Forces Symphony Orchestra and feature Italian violinist Giuseppe Gibboni under the direction of maestro Sergio Alapont.

This debut at the Teatro Auditorium Manzoni marks an important moment for the Albanian orchestra. It places them on one of Europe’s most renowned stages and strengthens TKOBAP’s mission to promote Albanian art and culture abroad with dignity and excellence.
