Tirana, October 13 – Claudia Fuller won the second edition of the RTSH “Nikolla Zoraqi” International Conducting Competition.

She conducted the RTSH Symphony Orchestra at the University of Arts in Tirana. She led with elegance and confidence. The international jury gave her the highest marks. The audience applauded enthusiastically.

The competition took place over one week in Tirana. It gathered 85 conductors from more than 25 countries. Participants competed to show their talent on one of Albania’s main classical music stages.

After the qualifying rounds, the jury selected 15 semifinalists. They performed with the orchestra to secure a spot in the grand final.

Fuller said, “This victory is a great achievement. The competition was tough. Professionals from 82 countries brought their experience. Performing with the Symphony Orchestra of the Albanian Radio and Television is a major professional accomplishment. I thank everyone, one by one, for their support. Competitions like this are very important. I am very happy to have been part of it”.

The RTSH Symphony Orchestra organized the competition. It has become a prestigious platform for young conductors. It puts Tirana on the map of major musical events.

The final ended with a gala concert. It closed a week full of art and emotion.
