In the birth month of Gjergj Fishta, Lezha honors the national poet with “Tetori Fishtjan”—a journey through verses, tradition, and the hospitality of Fishtë village.

Local guesthouses and residents open their doors to all visitors, offering an experience not to be missed.

“Welcome, may God bless you!” is the greeting visitors hear along the Fishta Poetry Trail. Signs featuring Fishta’s poems are placed in homes and guesthouses, where locals also offer traditional products.

Visitors on October 23–26 receive a guided itinerary starting from Fishta’s birthplace. Along the trail, hundreds of poems accompany travelers through guesthouses, memorials, farms, restaurants, and homes of the Fishta family.
