Korça welcomed the first edition of the International Wind Band Festival “Air Beat Festival – Lulu Fest.”

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared moments from the celebration in Korça. Over 150 artists from Albania, Kosovo, Italy, and Croatia performed and created a vibrant atmosphere.

Musicians filled streets and squares with live performances. The festival closed with a grand concert. Rama praised the event as “a tribute to wind art and Korça’s musical heritage.”

Organizers presented the festival as a new proof of Korça’s cultural spirit and tradition. The city came alive with powerful orchestral sounds and energetic performances that transformed its atmosphere.

“Lulu Fest” went beyond entertainment. It honored wind music, Korça’s rich musical legacy, and the craftsmen and artists who shaped the city’s unique sound.

The festival also drew inspiration from the historic “Vatra” band, a cultural symbol of Korça for more than a century. This tradition now finds new life through young musicians.
