TIRANA, November 3 — The 8th edition of the Painters’ Colony opened in Kolonja, an annual event that gathers dozens of artists from Albanian-speaking regions. Over three days, more than 45 painters captured the area’s landscapes, which appear especially magical during this autumn period.

Visitors expressed their admiration. One said it was their tenth visit to Kolonja. Another highlighted the region’s beautiful scenery.

The curator, Fatmir Toçi, noted that the event has gained importance not only as a cultural occasion but also as a promotion of the area’s tourist potential.

He added that painters from Albania, Kosova, North Macedonia, and Montenegro participate regularly, contributing to the region’s visibility.

Some artworks created during the event will join the collection of the Kolonja Art Gallery, preserving the memory and beauty of the area.
