“No Borders Orchestra” Performs for the First Time in Tirana

For the first time, the “No Borders Orchestra” (NBO) performed in Tirana.
The orchestra, made up of top professional musicians from the former Yugoslavia, presented its new project, Turning Point, last weekend. The concert took place at the University of Arts as part of the closing night of Austrian Cultural Week.
NBO is a symphony orchestra with a strong mission beyond music. It aims to break stereotypes, overcome nationalism, racism, and xenophobia, and confront negative legacies from the past.
Known for collaborations with Universal Music and Deutsche Grammophon, NBO offered a concert that combined musical artistry with social awareness.
Turning Point conveyed a message of unity, reflection, and action. It addressed global challenges such as wars, inequality, climate change, and environmental destruction.
