Tirana International Fair opens: Window to the Future – Albania 2030

The 31st edition of the Tirana International Fair opened today at the Palace of Congresses. The central theme is “Window to the Future – Albania 2030”.
This edition marks an important moment for promoting economic development and strengthening international cooperation. It brings together over 250 companies and institutions from more than 20 countries.
The fair aims to present to foreign investors the new development vision “Albania 2030”. It showcases projects, strategies, and joint public-private investments that support a modern, sustainable, and innovation-driven economy.
During the opening ceremony, Minister of Economy and Innovation Delina Ibrahimaj said this fair is not just a traditional business event. Instead, it reflects how Albanian businesses are aligning with modern concepts of development and innovation.
“I am pleased that Albania is building a favorable business climate, not only for the region but beyond,” she said. She added that the government has worked to create attractive legal foundations for investment.
Moreover, Ibrahimaj expressed confidence that the upcoming panels will bring innovative ideas and new cooperation opportunities.
Elira Kokona, Executive Director of the Albanian Investment Corporation, called the opening of the fair symbolic. It highlights a shared commitment to Albania’s economic future.
“This year, the fair carries special meaning because Albania presents its ‘Albania 2030’ vision,” she said. “It is not only a development ambition, but a national project for economic, urban, social, and cultural transformation.”
She noted that the corporation’s mission is to develop public assets, build new partnerships with the private sector, and generate long-term growth and fair benefits for society.
General Manager of the Tirana International Fair Luel Muhametaj described this edition as a reflection of Albania’s future direction and a gateway for global economic cooperation.
“This fair is more than an exhibition,” he said. “It is a future laboratory where ideas meet opportunities and visions become reality.”
He emphasized that the 31st edition marks a turning point. It gathers over 250 leading institutions, innovative companies, builders, and thinkers under one roof — all contributing to the Albania 2030 vision.
“This year’s conferences aim to show Albania’s long-term vision, outline the strategies guiding us, and present transformative projects — from mega-infrastructure and renewable energy to digital transformation, tourism, and agriculture,” he said.
Muhametaj added that this model will boost sector-focused growth and spark cross-sector cooperation — where agriculture meets innovation, energy supports sustainability, and culture inspires trade. It creates a dynamic dialogue between tradition and technology.
The fair will remain open until November 8. It offers unique opportunities for business cooperation, idea exchange, and international partnerships.
Since its launch in 1994 by Klik Ekspo Group, the Tirana International Fair has served as Albania’s window to the world and a showcase of national potential. The 31st edition confirms Tirana’s transformation from a historic city into a regional hub for innovation and economic cooperation.
