Visitors Enjoy First Snowfall in Razma

TIRANA, November 24 – The first snowfall in northern Albania has turned the tourist village of Razma in Shkodër into a popular winter destination. The village sits in the heart of the Albanian Alps at 900 meters above sea level and offers striking contrasts, from high peaks to alpine meadows shaped by glacial-karst formations.
Razma attracts visitors with its panoramic road, which opens to spectacular mountain views. The area lies at the foot of Mount Veleçik, about 40 kilometres from Shkodër, and becomes especially appealing in winter when beech and pine forests take on a bright white cover.
Many travellers choose Razëm for snowy weekends or winter sports. The destination has grown steadily in popularity among local and foreign tourists. They are drawn by its nature, clean air and the hospitality of the community, which promotes Razma as an all-season attraction.
Local residents have invested in guesthouses and agritourism facilities. These lodgings sit among pine forests and offer wide views of the surrounding Alpine peaks.
