TIRANA, December 25 – Speaker of Assembly of Albania, Niko Peleshi on Wednesday conveyed Christmas wishes to Christian believers. He delivered the message from the city of Korça.

Speaking to the media, Peleshi said Albanian society needs unity and understanding more than ever.

He extended his greetings to Orthodox believers and to all citizens. Peleshi noted that he traditionally delivers Christmas wishes from Korça, his hometown.

He described Korça as a city closely associated with Christmas celebrations. Peleshi said the city has seen increased participation this year, with visitors arriving from across Albania.

According to him, Christmas carries important messages for society. He highlighted peace, unity, and fraternity as core values of the holiday.

Peleshi added that these values remain essential for social cohesion during this period.
