Tourism revenue reached 4.4 billion Euros in nine months

Tirana, December 31 – Prime Minister Edi Rama announces that tourism revenue in the first nine months of the year reached approximately 4.4 billion euros.
During a year-end press conference, the Prime Minister reviewed achievements across key economic sectors.
Rama highlighted tourism as one sector showing significant growth.
“Facts, not assumptions, show a positive increase this year. Compared with 2024, tourism records a growth approaching seven percent. This rise reflects the number of foreign visitors, not Albanian passport holders,” he said.
The Prime Minister also noted a substantial expansion of public beaches, which increased by about 18 percent over the past year. This adds roughly 1.1 million square meters of new public beach areas.
“Public beach plots increased from 523 to 1,014. Meanwhile, preparations continue for the next season, including several new initiatives,” Rama added.
